In such cases, instead of creating a new object every time, we can duplicate an existing object. This is where the Prototype Design Pattern becomes useful. The Prototype Design Pattern is one of the Creational Design Patterns in Java. It allows developers to create new objects by cloning existing ones rather than instantiating them using constructors. What is the Prototype Design Pattern? The Prototype Design Pattern creates new objects by copying an existing object, known as the prototype. This approach improves performance by avoiding repeated initialization and allows developers to create multiple similar objects efficiently.
